I lived with my Grandparents who didn’t have much money, but knew how to make just about anything you could imagine needing. : )
Making our own Sarsaparilla pop, salve, butter, cheese, quilts, picking wild greens, finding the best mushrooms, gardening and raising chickens, pigs, cows and even guineas (a type of fowl).
It was a great time ~ It was a time we do not hear much about anymore.
Due to this economy I decided to share some of these wonderful Techniques, DIY (do it yourself) Stuff, Recipes, and Homesteading instruction.
I now reside in the ‘Grass Seed Capital’, which is located in the Willamette Valley in Oregon with my husband, 2 children, and 3 pets ~ a dogarooni, a brat-cat, and a shy tortoise.
You may find me unique in my approach ~ but, who wants boring! Right?
